I am a responsible and hard working person. I have decided to make a carrier change and I am determined to become a Pharmacy Technician and I am therefore looking for a Pharmacy in my area which would be glad to take me on as a trainee Pharmacy Technician.

Veterinary Nurse. 2010- til date. I am currently working in a busy Veterinary Clinic in London.

Veterinary Nurse and Receptionist. Year 2006-2010. Reception work: customer service, orders, QVet software program, telephone consulting, time booking, taking payments, vaccination reminders. Giving general advice to clients including preventative health care. Assisting the Vet in consultations. Surgical Nursing: preparing patient for op, assisting during operations, anesthesia: propofol induction, competent in endotracheal intubations, monitoring anesthesia. I am very competent in the collection of blood samples and IV catheters. Laboratory work: chemical analyzers, hematology, microscoping different kind of samples, Idexx tests for tropical deceases, urine analyses. Radiography. Performing dental cleaning with ultrasound in cats and dogs. I am also able to implant microchips, administer flea and worm treatments, clip nails, express anal glands and remove sutures when required. In charge of general cleaning and maintenance of all equipment.
I also have a great knowledge in travel schemes and pet passports.


Pharmacy assistant. Sales assistant. In summer 2007 I worked in a Pharmacy for 3 months during the time that the Veterinary Clinic was temporary closed. My work included counter sales, dispensing medicin according to prescriptions, giving basic advice to customers regarding products, checking stock levels, receiving orders, using the pharmacy software program.

Veterinary Nurse. Year 2005-2006. I worked in a modern and very busy Animal Hospital with six Veterinarians, two Nurses and two Receptionists. I worked as VN. Main tasks: Hospitalisation with nursing a variety of patients with a variety of medical conditions, many in-patients some needing critical care. Monitoring fluid therapy, IV catheters, blood sampling. Surgical nursing: assisting in a variety of operations including traumathology. I am competent in all radiography tasks including assisting with ultrasonography. Dental works descaling and polishing. Laboratory work.

Airport assistant. Check in, boarding, arrivals. Summer 2005.

Veterinary Nurse. Year 2004 - till summer 2005. I worked in a big Animal Hospital with 5 vets and 3 nurses. Inpatient care, blood sampling and catheters, surgical nursing, radiography, laboratory work, calculating drug doses, administering medications, apply rehabilitation programs for post operate patients, dental cleaning with ultrasound. Following correct cleaning protocols in all areas. Assistant in the emergency recovery center for birds of prey. Had a rotating schedule including night shifts and weekends as only nurse.
