X Dispensing, labeling and recording medications issued to patients according
to prescriptions
X Working closely with other healthcare professionals
X Consulting with prescribers and patients with regard to medication dosage, drug
interactions, disease management and potential side effects of prescription and OTC
medications to provide the best medication for the patients and their disease state
X Responding to medication-related queries from the general public
X Educating patients on a proper usage and storage of pharmaceuticals
X Supervising and checking the work of less experienced and less qualified staff
X Giving private consultations when required; conducting and evaluating medication
